Zusammenfassung:To provide a biodegradation promoter suitable for a biodegradable resin that improves the biodegradation rate and degradation rate of a biodegradable resin such as an aliphatic polyester resin, an aliphatic-aromatic polyester resin, an aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid resin, in an arbitrarily controllable manner, and can maintain mechanical strength such as tensile breaking elongation and flexural modulus, and a biodegradable resin composition containing the biodegradation promoter.SOLUTION: A degradation promoter for biodegradable resin contains cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Relative to 100 mass% of the total of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin, 10-30 mass% of lignin is contained, and the ratio of the cellulose content to the hemicellulose content is 0.5-4.0. A biodegradable resin composition contains the biodegradation promoter 2-250 pts.mass and a biodegradable resin 100 pts.mass .SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂、脂肪族−芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂、脂肪族オキシカルボン酸系樹脂などの生分解性樹脂の生分解速度や分解率を高め、かつ任意に制御することができ、しかも、引張破断伸びや曲げ弾性率などの機械強度も維持できる、生分解性樹脂に適した生分解促進剤と、この生分解促進剤を含む生分解性樹脂組成物を提供する。【解決手段】セルロース、ヘミセルロース及びリグニンを含む生分解性樹脂用分解促進剤であって、セルロース、ヘミセルロース及びリグニンの合計100質量%に対しリグニンを10〜30質量%含み、且つヘミセルロースの含有量に対するセルロースの含有量の割合が0.5〜4.0である生分解性樹脂用分解促進剤。この生分解促進剤2〜250質量部と生分解性樹脂100質量部を含む生分解性樹脂組成物。【選択図】なし
