OPTICAL DEPILATOR

To provide an optical depilator that even when an inclination of a handpiece (an angle between a short side of an irradiation window and a movement direction) is enlarged in performing skew movement irradiation work, is capable of automatically performing irradiation with pulse light at a position circumscribing an immediately irradiated region.SOLUTION: The optical depilator includes: the irradiation window; movement detection means for detecting movement of the irradiation window to sending information on a movement amount; and a control unit comprising continuous light emission mode execution means that on the basis of the information from the movement detection means, makes a light source perform pulse emission at the irradiation window's position at which an irradiation target region circumscribes the immediately irradiated region and continuously forms irradiated regions in a movement direction to promote depilation.
