Zusammenfassung:To reduce decreasing of a number of pixels that can detect a terahertz wave in a terahertz wave image acquisition device, and in an image acquisition device using the terahertz wave.SOLUTION: An image acquisition device being an image acquisition device 1001 that acquires an image by using a terahertz wave comprises: a generation unit 112 in which a plurality of generating elements generating a terahertz wave are arranged on an arrangement surface 117; an irradiation optical system 111 image-forming the terahertz wave on an image-formation surface 115; an image-formation optical system 101 image-forming the terahertz wave reflected by a subject; and a sensor 102 including a plurality of pixels.
