Zusammenfassung:To provide a nitriding treatment method for forming an excellent wear resistant compound layer of an iron nitride compound layer of ε phase (Fe2-3N) and γ' phase (Fe4N) in a short time treatment with a high heat efficiency, a reduced use amount of nitrogen gas, and a low environmental load on a steel material forming a slide member.SOLUTION: A nitriding treatment method uses a high frequency induction heating or an electric heating to heat a slide member consisting of a steel material at 600°C - 700°C for a time of 1 min - 25 min under a nitrogen gas atmosphere to form an iron nitride compound layer of ε phase(Fe2-3N) and γ'phase(Fe4N) containing nitrogen of more than 4.5% on a surface layer part of the slide member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】摺動部材を形成する鉄鋼材に、摩損耐久性に優れるε相(Fe2〜3N)、γ'相(Fe4N)の鉄窒化物の化合物層を、短時間処理で、高い熱効率で、窒化ガスの使用量を低減し、低環境負荷で、形成する窒化処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】窒化処理方法は、高周波誘導加熱又は通電加熱を使用し、温度が600℃〜700℃で、時間が1分〜25分で、窒化ガスの雰囲気下で、鉄鋼材からなる摺動部材を加熱し、摺動部材の表層部に、窒素含有量が4.5%を超えるε相(Fe2〜3N)、γ'相(Fe4N)の鉄窒化物の化合物層を形成することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
