Then, the detected twist angle is compared with the above equilibrium point twist angle, and a control signal is sent to an elastic force adjustment unit, and twist angles of upper-frame-side torsion bars 141a and 141b are adjusted so as to match the twist angle of the equilibrium point. The upper frame 200 can be automatically set to an appropriate position in an initial state in which the person is seated and in a stationary state.
