Zusammenfassung:To provide a state detection mechanism capable of accurately detecting the state of loading work carried out by a spreader.SOLUTION: A state detection mechanism 1 comprises: a detection rod 10 that is installed in a spreader 2 and configured to be able to move in a vertical direction z through contact with a container 4; a landing sensor 13 that detects landing of the spreader 2 on the basis of movement of the detection rod 10 when the spreader 2 approaches the container 4 beyond a prescribed distance; and a container sensor 14 that detects movement of the spreader 2 away from the container 4 by more than a prescribed distance on the basis of the movement of the detection rod 10, and detects the state of loading work carried out by the spreader 2. A landing target member 11 detected by the landing sensor 13 and a container target member 12 detected by the container sensor 14 are installed in the detection rod 10.
