Zusammenfassung:	To provide an applicator which can accurately grasp dimensions of a shim member in the state that the sim member is intervened in the applicator, a coating device, and a coating method.SOLUTION: An applicator has a slit nozzle in which a discharge port for discharging a coating liquid is formed into a slit shape extending in one direction. The applicator comprises: a shim member which is formed in such a manner that half-shaped half-bases divided by the slit nozzle are integrated, has a constant thickness, and is intervened between the half-bases, thereby adjusting a slit width in a coating direction of the discharge port; and a shim detector which detects dimensions of the shim member intervened between the half-bases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】塗布器にシム部材が介在した状態であっても、シム部材の寸法を正確に把握することができる塗布器、塗布装置、及び、塗布方法を提供する。【解決手段】塗布液が吐出される吐出口が一方向に延びるスリット形状に形成されたスリットノズルを有する塗布器であって、前記塗布器は、前記スリットノズルで分割される半割形状の半口金を合体させて形成されており、一定の厚みで形成され、前記半口金の間に介在させることにより前記吐出口の塗布方向におけるスリット幅を調節するシム部材と、前記半口金の間に介在された前記シム部材の寸法を検出するシム検出部と、を備える構成とする。【選択図】図５
