To enlarge a measurement light projection range without deteriorating detection accuracy of an object detection device.SOLUTION: An object detection device includes: a case 12 for storing a light emission part and a light reception part; a light projection part 14b for allowing measurement light La-Lf emitted from the light emission part to pass through so as to be projected to an outside of the case 12; and a light incident part 14c for allowing reflection light of the measurement light La-Lf reflected against an object existing outside the case 12 to pass through so as to be introduced to an inside of the case 12.
