Zusammenfassung:To provide a method in which concentration of gas to be detected is calculated highly accurately using two gas sensor elements and a method in which concentration ratio of two-component gas is calculated using a single gas sensor element.SOLUTION: A concentration ratio calculation method comprises: a first measurement step in which, after a gas sensor element is heated up to a temperature at which both of the two gas components that are introduced to the gas sensor element react, an electric resistance value of the gas sensor element is measured keeping the temperature for a prescribed time; a second measurement step in which, after the gas sensor element is heated up to a temperature at which only one of the two gas components reacts, the electric resistance value of the gas sensor element is measured keeping the temperature for a prescribed time; and a concentration ratio calculation step in which the concentration ratio of the two gas components is calculated based on the combination of the electric resistance value obtained in the first measurement step and the electric resistance value obtained in the second measurement step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】2つのガスセンサ素子を用いて、検知対象ガスの濃度を高精度に求める方法を提供する。また、1つのガスセンサ素子を用いて、2成分ガスの濃度比を求める方法を提供する。【解決手段】濃度比算出方法は、ガスセンサ素子へと導入した2つのガス成分のいずれもが反応する温度にガスセンサ素子を加熱し、温度を所定時間維持してガスセンサ素子の電気抵抗値を測定する第1測定ステップと、2つのガス成分のいずれかのみが反応する温度にガスセンサ素子を加熱し、温度を所定時間維持してガスセンサ素子の電気抵抗値を測定する第2測定ステップと、第1測定ステップでの電気抵抗値と第2測定ステップでの電気抵抗値との組み合わせに基づいて、2つのガス成分の濃度比を算出する濃度比算出ステップとを備える。【選択図】図1
