To provide a printer that accurately estimates a printing processing time for a printing job in a standby state received at present.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing job receiving unit 13 for receiving input of printing jobs of a plurality of users; a printing processing unit 11 for executing printing processing based on the printing jobs received by the printing job receiving unit 13; an estimation unit 14 for estimating a printing processing time required for printing processing of the printing jobs received by the printing job receiving unit 13; and an output unit 15 for outputting the printing processing time estimated by the estimation unit 14.
