To provide a decontamination technique for a contaminated water storage tank, capable of improving efficiency of decontamination work.SOLUTION: A decontamination method for a contaminated water storage tank comprises: a dosimetry step of measuring a radiation dose inside a tank 2 used for storing contaminated water containing radioactive substances; a liquid decontamination step of introducing a decontamination liquid 13 into the tank 2 based on the radiation dose, and bringing the decontamination liquid 13 into contact with an inner surface of the tank 2; and a peeling decontamination step of performing peeling decontamination in which a lining 3 applied to the inner surface of the tank 2 is peeled off after the liquid decontamination step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 【課題】除染作業の効率を向上させることができる汚染水貯留タンクの除染技術を提供する。【解決手段】汚染水貯留タンクの除染方法は、放射性物質を含む汚染水の貯留に用いられたタンク２の内部の放射線量を測定する線量測定ステップと、放射線量に基づいて、タンク２の内部に除染液１３を導入し、除染液１３をタンク２の内面に接触させる液除染を行う液除染ステップと、タンク２の内面に施されたライニング３を液除染ステップ後に剥がす剥離除染を行う剥離除染ステップとを含む。【選択図】図１５
