To provide a structure in which a backrest and back support can be easily connected without machine screws.SOLUTION: A back surface of a backrest (a back plate) 2 is provided with left and right bracket parts 41, and to the bracket parts 41, an upper part of a joint member 44 is connected with a pin 45. A left and right edge parts of the pin 45 are exposed parts protruding outside the bracket parts 41. In an upper end part of a back support 18, a holding part 52 into which the joint member and the bracket parts 41 enter is formed. On an inner wall 53 provided with the holding part 52, a bearing groove 54 with which an exposure part of the pin 45 is engaged with from above is formed. Both the joint member 44 and the holding part 52 are connected by engagement between the engaging claw 55 and an engaging boss part 57. Connection of the backrest 2 to the back support 18 is performed by simple operation to press the joint member 44 against the back support 18 after the pin 45 is fallen in the bearing groove 54. The pin 45 is held in the way that it cannot fall off by the holding part 52 and is invisible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 【課題】背もたれと背支柱とをビス無しで簡単に連結できる構造を実現する。【解決手段】背もたれ（背板）２の背面に、左右のブラケット部４１を設け、このブラケット部４１に、継手部材４４の上部がピン４５で連結されている。ピン４５の左右端部はブラケット部４１の外側にはみ出た露出部になっている。背支柱１８の上端部には、継手部材及びブラケット部４１が入り込む抱持部５２を形成している。抱持部５２に設けた内壁５３に、ピン４５の露出部が上から嵌まる軸受け溝５４を形成している。継手部材４４と抱持部５２とは、係合爪５５と係合ボス部５７との係合によって連結される。背支柱１８に対する背もたれ２の連結は、ピン４５を軸受け溝５４に落とし込んでから、継手部材４４を背支柱１８に押し当てる簡単な作業によって行われる。ピン４５は、抱持部５２により抜け不能でかつ視認不能に保持されている。【選択図】図１１
