Zusammenfassung:To provide a technique in which large twisting force can be given to a workpiece during forging processing, and an apparatus can be downsized due to large plastic deformation by improving flowability of material.SOLUTION: A forging apparatus 1 is the forging apparatus 1 which forges a workpiece W by an upper die punch 12 and a lower die 22. The forging apparatus 1 comprises: a driving force generating part 30 which generates rotation driving force; and a support table 21 which has a diameter longer than the maximum dimension of the lower die 22 in a direction orthogonal to a moving direction of the upper die punch 12, and rotates on an outer periphery while receiving rotational driving force to rotate the lower die 22 by the rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】鍛造加工時にワークに大きな捩じり力を与えることができ、材料の流動性を向上させることによる大きな塑性変形により、装置の小型化が可能な技術を提供する。【解決手段】鍛造装置1は、上型パンチ12と下型22とによりワークWを鍛造加工する鍛造装置1である。鍛造装置1は、回転駆動力を発生する駆動力発生部30と、上型パンチ12の移動方向に対し直交する方向における下型22の最大寸法よりも長い直径を有し、外周において回転駆動力を受けて回転し、当該回転により下型22を回転させる支持テーブル21とを備える。【選択図】図1
