Zusammenfassung: | To provide a rear suspension which can properly prevent or avoid that an on-vehicle apparatus, a part and an intermediate beam interfere with one another resulting a rear collision of a vehicle even if a fuel tank and the other on-vehicle apparatus and a part are arranged at a vehicle front side of the intermediate beam.SOLUTION: A rear suspension S comprises: a pair of left and right trailing arms 3 which are attached to a vehicle body 10 side at front parts, and attached with rear wheels 2 at rear parts, and located with an internal in a vehicle width direction; and an intermediate beam 4 extending to the vehicle width direction, and connecting middle portions of a pair of the trailing arms 3 in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction. In the intermediate beam 4, a section modulus of a center-shifted part 4b in the vehicle width direction is set smaller than section moduli of both end parts 4a in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】中間ビームの車両前方側に燃料タンクやその他の車両搭載機器・部品が配置されたとしても、車両の後突に起因して車両搭載機器・部品と中間ビームとが不当に干渉することを適切に防止または抑制し得るリヤサスペンションを提供する。【解決手段】前部が車体10側に取付けられているとともに、後部に後輪2が取付けられ、かつ車幅方向において互いに間隔を隔てて位置する左右一対のトレーリングアーム3と、車幅方向に延び、かつ一対のトレーリングアーム3の車両前後方向の途中部分どうしを連結する中間ビーム4と、を備えている、リヤサスペンションSであって、中間ビーム4は、車幅方向の中央寄り部4bの断面係数が、車幅方向の両端部4aの断面係数よりも小さい構成とされている。【選択図】 図2 |
