ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE AND ATTACHMENT METHOD FOR INSTRUMENT PANEL MODULE

To make it possible to effectively use a space under an instrument panel member at a lower portion of a vehicle body, in a vehicle where the instrument panel module is attached to a front portion of a passenger compartment.SOLUTION: At both sides in a vehicle width direction of an instrument panel member 10, there are provided respective vehicle body attachment portions and jig attachment portions 14 to which holding jigs 40 held by a transfer device 50 are to be detachably attached. An instrument panel module with the holding jigs 40 being attached to the jig attachment portions 14 is transferred to a front portion of a passenger compartment, while the holding jigs 40 being held by the transfer device 50. The body attachment portions are attached to the vehicle body to release holding of the transfer device 50 to the holding jigs 40. Then, the holding jigs 40 are removed to a rear side of the vehicle body from the jig attachment portions 14 and thereby the instrument panel module is attached to the front portion of the passenger compartment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 【課題】インパネモジュールが車室前部に取り付けられる車両において、インパネメンバの車体下側のスペースを有効に利用できるようにする。【解決手段】インパネメンバ１０の車幅方向両側にそれぞれ車体取付部と搬送装置５０に把持される把持治具４０が着脱可能に取り付けられる治具取付部１４とが設けられ、治具取付部１４に把持治具４０が取り付けられたインパネモジュールが、搬送装置５０に把持治具４０が把持された状態で車室前部に搬送され、車体に車体取付部が取り付けられ、把持治具４０に対する搬送装置５０の把持が解除され、治具取付部１４から把持治具４０が車体後側に取り外されることにより、インパネモジュールが車室前部に取り付けられる。【選択図】図１１
