To provide a valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine which can improve the holding performance of sleeves which are buried in resin-made boss parts.SOLUTION: In this valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine, extension parts 832b, 833b and 834b having hexagonal shapes in cross sections are arranged in center parts of cylindrical parts 832a, 833a and 834a in an axial direction so as to be extended to the outside of a radial direction in cylindrical sleeves 832, 833 and 834 which are buried in resin-made boss parts 813b, 813c and 813d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】樹脂製のボス部に埋設されるスリーブの保持性を向上させることができる内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置は、樹脂製のボス部８１３ｂ、８１３ｃ、８１３ｄに埋設される円筒状のスリーブ８３２、８３３、８３４において、円筒状部８３２ａ、８３３ａ、８３４ａの軸方向の中間部に、横断面が六角形となる延出部８３２ｂ、８３３ｂ、８３４ｂが、径方向外側へ延びるように設けられている。【選択図】図５
