Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single apparatus and method, which utilize LED illumination modules and allow for producing accurate and reliable images of lenses loaded in a tray to enable inspection of multiple features such edge defects, geometrical measurements, and contamination.SOLUTION: An inspection system and method for inspecting a lens for defects in molding, contamination, scratches, damage, and any form of deformation of an intraocular lens is provided, the system comprising: three main building blocks consisting of a top illumination light head including a top lens light head 14 and a top flat light head 10, a dark field illumination light head 34, a bright field illumination light head 36, and a single spot illumination light head; and an image acquisition and processing system configured to capture an image of a lens loaded in a tray, analyze the image to detect various defects, and determine whether to reject or accept the lens based on the analyzed image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】トレイ内に装填されたレンズの正確かつ信頼できる画像を生成して、エッジ欠陥、幾何的な測定、汚染などの複数の特徴の検査を可能にし得る、LED照射モジュールを利用する単一の装置及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】上部レンズ光ヘッド14と上部平板光ヘッド10とを含む上部照射光ヘッド;暗視野照射光ヘッド34、明視野照射光ヘッド36;単一スポット照射光ヘッドという3つの主要な構築ブロック、トレイの中に装填されたレンズの画像を取り込み、画像を分析して様々な欠陥を検出し、分析した画像に基づいてレンズを拒絶するか又は受け入れるための決定を行う、画像取得及び処理システム、を備え、眼内レンズに成形の欠陥、汚染、引っ掻き傷、損傷、及び何らかの形態の変形がないかを検査する。【選択図】図1
