MECHANICAL PARKING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility which can detect protrusion of a vehicle occurring after the vehicle is stopped at a loading/unloading room.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility includes: a loading/unloading room 12; a storage shelf provided at a lower floor than the loading/unloading room 12; movement means for moving a pallet between the loading/unloading room 12 and the storage shelf; and a first protrusion sensor which detects whether or not a vehicle placed on the pallet is protruding from a first protrusion detection region 148 when the pallet moves between the loading/unloading room 12 and the storage shelf.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】車両を乗降室に停車させた後に生じる車両のはみ出しを検知できる機械式駐車場を提供する。【解決手段】機械式駐車場は、乗降室１２と、乗降室１２よりも下階に設けられた格納棚と、パレットを乗降室１２と格納棚との間で移動させる移動手段と、パレットが乗降室１２と格納棚との間で移動する際に、パレット上に載置された車両が第１はみ出し検知領域１４８からはみ出しているか否かを検知する第１はみ出しセンサと、を備える。【選択図】図６
