Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can surely maintain the capping state of a head by surely locking a carriage with a simple and inexpensive configuration even if strong impact is applied.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: a plurality of heads which discharge droplets from nozzles; a carriage which is mounted with the heads and performs scanning in the main-scanning direction; a cap which caps the heads; two holes which are provided on the lower side of the carriage; and two carriage locks which are respectively engaged with the two holes by moving with respect to the carriage.
