PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that usability of a vacuum cleaner is deteriorated.SOLUTION: A cleaner body 21 has a nearly cylindrical box shape and includes: a battery charger storage part 1 positioned in a lower part so as to store a battery charger 9; an electric blower storage part 4 arranged on an upper side of the battery charger storage part 1 so as to store an electric blower 11; a dust collection chamber 5 arranged on an upper part of the electric blower storage part 4; an exhaust port 6 communicating with the battery charger storage part 1; and an intake port 7 communicating with the dust collection chamber 5. The exhaust port 6 is arranged in one end surface or a side wall surface close to one end in a longitudinal direction in the cleaner body 21. The intake port 7 is arranged in the other end surface or a side wall surface close to the other end in a longitudinal direction in the cleaner body 21. When the longitudinal direction of the cleaner body 21 is allowed to be a vertical direction with respect to a horizontal plane, respective center lines passing gravity centers of the battery charger storage part 1, the electric blower 11, and the dust collection chamber 5 are arranged to nearly meet on a center line of the cleaner body 21 in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】電気掃除機の使い勝手が低下する。【解決手段】掃除機本体２１は略筒箱形状で、下方に位置し充電池９を収納する充電池収納部１と、充電池収納部１の上方に配置され電動送風機１１を収納する電動送風機収納部４と、電動送風機収納部４の上方に配置された集塵室５と、充電池収納部１に連通する排気口６と、集塵室５に連通する吸気口７を備え、排気口６は、掃除機本体２１の長手方向の一方の端面もしくは一方の端近傍側壁面に設けられ、吸気口７は、掃除機本体２１の長手方向の他方の端面もしくは他方の端近傍側壁面に設けられ、掃除機本体２１の長手方向を水平面に対し鉛直方向にした時に、充電池収納部１と電動送風機１１と集塵室５の重心を通る各々の中心線が、掃除機本体２１の長手方向の略中心線上と合致するように配置する。【選択図】図４
