GROMMET AND WIRING HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet that is able to improve water stop performance and to provide a wiring harness having the grommet.SOLUTION: A recess 433A is formed in an end face 433 of a plate-like part 43 of a grommet 20. Therefore, water moving along this end face 433 may flow in a direction intersecting the end face 433. Specifically, in a case where water may flow along the end face 433 so that it moves toward a weather strip W side from a connection portion 431 side between the plate-like part 43 and a cylindrical part 41, the flow may be changed by the recessed part 433A formed at a certain point from the connection portion side and the W side and may be made less likely to reach the weather strip W. Therefore, even in a case where an empty space is formed between the grommet 20 and a surface P1 on which it is mounted, water is made less likely to pass through the gap, making it possible to improve water stop function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】止水性能を向上させることができるグロメットおよび該グロメットを備えたワイヤハーネスを提供する。【解決手段】グロメット２０における板状部４３の端面４３３に凹部４３３Ａが形成されていることで、この端面４３３を伝った水が凹部に到達した際に、端面４３３に交差する方向に沿って水が流れようとする。即ち、板状部４３と筒状部４１との接続部分４３１側からウェザーストリップＷ側に向かうように、水が端面４３３を伝って流れようとした場合、この途中に形成された凹部４３３Ａによって流れが変わり、ウェザーストリップＷに到達しにくくなる。これにより、グロメット２０と被取付面Ｐ１との間に隙間が形成されてしまった場合でも、水がこの隙間を通過しにくくなり、止水性能を向上させることができる。【選択図】図７
