Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor operating in an environment in which it is exposed to a corrosive gas or liquid under pressure.SOLUTION: The sensor has a housing in which a sensing part, at least one electrical wire electrically connected to the sensor part, and a seal having at least one through hole which receives a part of the at least one electrical wire and sealing the connection between the sensing part and the at least one electrical wire. The sensor further has a compressor that is built inside the housing at least partly, movable relative to the housing, and arranged in contact with the seal to compress the seal. The seal has an integral structure and is made of a single material that is softer than the material of the housing. When the compressor shifts, the seal is deformed to such an extent that the seal applies a compressive force to a part of the electrical wire, thereby completely preventing corrosive gas or liquid from passing between the seal and the at least one electrical wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
