Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor having a new reagent composition which suppresses a change in a current value before and after a preservation period.SOLUTION: A sensor contains a sample chamber having an opening formed so as to place a liquid sample, a pair of electrodes arranged in the sample chamber and a reagent layer formed in the sample chamber, where the reagent layer contains an oxidation-reduction enzyme, an electron acceptor and a specific heterocyclic compound, and satisfies the following requirements: (first requirement) electron acceptor is quinone derivative in which hydrophilic functional group is added to phenanthrene quinone; and (second requirement) heterocyclic compound contains no imidazole and histidine, and when two of Ato Ain general formula are nitrogen atoms, at least one group in Rto Ris a substituent other than a hydrogen atom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】保存期間の前後での電流値の変化が抑制される新たな試薬組成物を備えるセンサを提供する。【解決手段】液体試料が入るように形成された、開口部を備える試料室と、試料室内に配置された少なくとも一対の電極と、試料室内に形成された試薬層と、を有し、試薬層は、酸化還元酵素と電子受容体と、特定の複素環式化合物と、を含有し、下記の要件を満足する。(第一の要件)電子受容体がフェナントレンキノンに親水性官能基が付加されたキノン誘導体である。(第二の要件)複素環式化合物がイミダゾール及びヒスチジンを含まず、下記一般式中のA1〜A5のうちの2個が窒素原子であるときは、R1〜R5のうち、少なくとも1個の基が水素原子以外の置換基である。【選択図】図1
