METHOD FOR REFINING TAR ACID SODA AND TAR ACID SODA REFINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining tar acid soda by a light oil cleaning method, reducing the amount of the tar acid soda not recovered as the tar acid soda.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for refining tar acid soda comprising a cleaning separation step where crude tar acid soda is contacted with light oil to extract oily impurities in the crude tar acid soda into the light oil, thus a mixture of the crude tar acid soda and the light oil is separated into a liquid including the light oil and impurities and the tar acid soda. Further, the method includes: an oil-water separation step where the liquid including the light oil and impurities obtained in the cleaning separation step is subjected to oi-water separation step; and a recovery step where the water layer produced in the oil-water separation step is recovered.
