WIRE CUTTING DETECTOR FOR PACK WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify that a remained amount of a welding wire encased in a welding wire storage container has become less that a predetermined amount.SOLUTION: A wire cutting detector detects a wire cutting state in advance in a wire supply system for automatically supplying a welding wire to a welding torch of an automatic welding machine. The wire cutting detector comprises; multiple supporting rods (2) each radially projecting from a center disc (1), a placement base for a pack wire storage container (C) storing a welding wire wound body. At least one of the supporting rods (2) comprises: a base body (8) having a channel shape to cover an opening part thereof on an upper surface; and a lid body (9) having a channel shape to cover the opening part; and pivotally supports the cover body (9) and the base body (8) at a center of the placement base in vertically swingable manner. An elastic body (15) applying an elastic force to an opening side with respect to the lid body (9) is installed inside the base body (8) in a longitudinally movable manner for adjustment. A sensor element (16) detects a predetermined angle opening operation of the lid body (9) as a remained amount of wire in the pack wire storage container (C) has become less than a predetermined amount, whereby, the wire cutting state is detected in advance and an alarm is issued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】溶接ワイヤ収納容器に収容されている溶接ワイヤの残量が一定量を下回ったことを報知する。【解決手段】自動溶接機の溶接トーチに溶接ワイヤを自動送給するワイヤ送給系でワイヤ切れを予め検知するワイヤ切れ検知器である。溶接ワイヤ巻回収容しているパックワイヤ収納容器(Ｃ)の載置台を中央円板(１)から放射方向に連出した複数の支持杆(２)で構成する。この支持杆(２)の少なくとも１基を上面に開口部を有するチャンネル型の基体(８)とその開口部を覆うチャンネル状の蓋体(９)とで構成し、蓋体(９)と基体(８)とを載置台の中心側で俯仰揺動可能に枢支する。蓋体(９)に対して開き側に弾発力を作用させる弾性体(15)を基体(８)の内部に長手方向で調節移動可能に設置しパックワイヤ収納容器(Ｃ)でのワイヤ残量が所定量を下回ることに伴い蓋体(９)が所定の角度開き作動したことを検知素子(16)が検知することでワイヤ切れを予め検知して警告を発する。【選択図】 図１
