PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and program capable of deriving a more appropriate operation plan for a register and performing an operation instruction.SOLUTION: The information processing device includes: estimation means for estimating the number of customers which is generated for the present or future prescribed period as the estimated number of customers on the basis of the past number of customers recorded as a history; storage means for storing processing capacity indicating the number of customers which can be processed per unit time in a register form in association with the register form achievable by a register installed in a store; derivation means for deriving a register form and the number of registers which can process the estimated number of customers on the basis of the processing capacity of each register form stored in the storage means; and output means for outputting instruction information for instructing the derived number of registers of the derived form to operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】より適切なレジの稼働計画を導出するとともに、稼働指示を行うことが可能な情報処理装置及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】履歴として記録された過去の客数に基づいて、現在又は将来の所定期間に発生する客数を見込客数として推定する推定手段と、店舗に設置されたレジで実現可能なレジ形態と対応付けて、当該レジ形態で単位時間あたりに処理することが可能な客数を示す処理能力を記憶する記憶手段と、前記記憶手段に記憶された各レジ形態の処理能力に基づいて、前記見込客数を処理することが可能な、レジ形態と台数とを導出する導出手段と、前記導出されたレジ形態のレジを前記導出された台数分稼働させることを指示した指示情報を出力する出力手段と、を備える。【選択図】図７
