CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early warm an exhaust emission control device for activation.SOLUTION: A control device 10 for an engine includes: a casing 21 that is connected to an exhaust passage 5 drawn out from a combustion chamber 3 and into which exhaust gas is introduced; an exhaust gas purification section 22 provided in the casing 21 to purify the exhaust gas introduced into the casing 21 before release to the atmosphere; temperature acquisition means 24 for acquiring a temperature of the exhaust gas introduced into the casing 21; and heater sections 23 for heating the exhaust gas purification section 22; and heating control means 32 for controlling heating by using the heater sections 23 on the basis of the temperature of the exhaust gas. The plurality of heater sections 23 are provided in the direction of a flow passage of the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas purification section 22.
