PORTABLE OPTICAL READING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable optical reading device that improves visibility of indicators for notifying users of various information.SOLUTION: The portable optical reading device includes: a reading unit 41 that optically reads symbols serving as reading objects; a head part 3 in which the reading unit 41 is stored, and a reading port 4 of the reading unit 41 is formed; a grip part 2 that is provided continuous to the head part 3, extends in a continuously-provided direction, and is gripped by a user; and a display part 22 that is provided in the head part 3, and is adapted to cause the user to visually recognize at least a reading result of the reading unit 41.
