PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode mixture layer for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having both surface current collecting properties of an electrode material and long distance electron conductivity in the electrode mixture layer, an electrode using the same, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same.SOLUTION: The electrode mixture layer for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a coated positive electrode active material composed of a positive electrode active material and a conductive material covering a surface of the positive electrode active material; and a fibrous carbon having an average fiber diameter of 200 to 900 nm and an aspect ratio of 30 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 電極合剤層において電極材の表面集電性と電極合剤層内の長距離電子電導性とを両立した非水電解質電池用の電極合剤層及びそれを用いた電極、並びにその電極を用いた非水電解質二次電池を提供する。【解決手段】 正極活物質と前記正極活物質の表面を被覆する導電材とから成る被覆正極活物質と、平均繊維径が２００〜９００ｎｍであってアスペクト比が３０以上の繊維状炭素と、を非水電解質二次電池用電極合剤層に含有させる。【選択図】なし
