Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit deterioration of traveling performance in a high speed operating region when malfunction occurs in an exhaust valve device for controlling a flow rate of exhaust gas supplied to a supercharger, while preventing damage of the exhaust valve device caused by thermal stress in a vehicle mounted with an engine having the supercharger.SOLUTION: An exhaust system for an engine that is interposed between an engine body and a supercharger driven by pressure of exhaust gas discharged from the engine body includes: a first exhaust passage and a second exhaust passage for introducing exhaust gas to the supercharger; a partition wall that is interposed between the first exhaust passage and the second exhaust passage to partition the passages; and a valve that is disposed in the second exhaust passage to control a flow rate of exhaust gas flowing in the second exhaust passage.
