Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume compound capable of imparting or enhancing preferable fragrance, when being added into food and drink or a perfumery, or enhancing deliciousness, saltiness, sweetness, and richness of milk as a taste, in addition to fragrance, when being added into food and drink.SOLUTION: Fragrance full of natural feeling is imparted by adding 2-(3- benzyloxy propyl) pyridine which is a compound as an active ingredient to food and drink or a perfumery. Especially, when being added to food and drink, deliciousness is imparted or enhanced, saltiness is enhanced, and sweetness is enhanced, and further especially, when being included into milk, a milk product or food and drink containing milk or a milk product, or into a milk product substitute, richness of milk is enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】飲食品や香粧品に添加した場合に好ましい香気を付与乃至増強し、また、飲食品に添加した場合には香気に加え、呈味として旨味、塩味、甘味、乳のコクを増強する香料化合物を提供すること。【解決手段】2−(3−ベンジルオキシプロピル)ピリジンは該化合物を有効成分として飲食品または香粧品に添加することにより天然感あふれる香気が付与される。また、特に、飲食品に添加した場合には旨味の付与ないし増強、塩味の増強、および、甘味が増強され、特に、乳、乳製品、乳若しくは乳製品を含有する飲食物、または乳製品代用品に含有させことにより、乳のコクが増強される。【選択図】 なし
