PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system capable of handling various types of communication means, communication modes, service modes, and the like and providing high-level service.SOLUTION: An information communication system comprises: a service/terminal information registration unit 100 for holding service/terminal information on each terminal accommodated in a network; a connection solution unit 200 that accepts a connection destination inquiry received from a communication request source terminal 13, solves the problem of determining address information on a connection destination agreeing with a communication condition included in the connection destination inquiry and means information on communication with the connection destination, and makes a response; and a communication processing unit 300 for performing communication control identified using communication means information included in a connection control request so that the communication request source terminal 13 can communicate with a communication destination terminal 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】多種多様な通信手段・通信形態・サービス形態などに対応可能であり高度なサービス提供が可能な情報通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】ネットワークに収容された各端末のサービス・端末情報を保持するサービス・端末情報登録部１００と、通信要求元端末１３から受領した接続先問合せを受け付け、接続先問合せに含まれる通信条件に合致する接続先アドレス情報及び該接続先への通信手段情報を解決して応答する接続解決部２００と、通信要求元端末１３から通信相手先端末２１に通信可能となるように、接続制御要求に含まれる通信手段情報で特定される通信制御を行う通信処理部３００とを備えた。【選択図】図１
