Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch having a surge voltage absorption function and excellent in versatility.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch 100 comprises: a rotor 1; a stator 2 which has a spool 20 holding an electromagnetic coil 3; an armature 5; a hub 4 which rotates integrally with the armature 5; a surge absorption element 50 which absorbs a surge voltage generating when supply of a current to the electromagnetic coil 3 is stopped; and a conductive terminal 30 to which an end portion of a coil wire 3a of the electromagnetic coil 3 is connected and to which a terminal section 52 of the surge absorption element 50 is connected. Furthermore, the spool 20 has an element accommodation section 25 which accommodates therein the surge absorption element 50, and a terminal attachment section 253 which contacts the terminal section 52 of the surge absorption element 50 and to which one end portion 33 of the terminal 30 is attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】サージ電圧の吸収機能を有する汎用性に優れた電磁クラッチを提供する。【解決手段】電磁クラッチ100は、ロータ1と、電磁コイル3を保持するスプール20を有するステータ2と、アーマチャ5と、アーマチャ5と一体に回転するハブ4と、電磁コイル3への通電の停止時に発生するサージ電圧を吸収するサージ吸収素子50と、電磁コイル3のコイル線3aの端部が接続されるとともに、サージ吸収素子50の端子部52が接続される導電性の端子30とを備える。さらに、スプール20は、サージ吸収素子50が収納される素子収納部25と、サージ吸収素子50の端子部52に接触して端子30の一端部33が取り付けられる端子取付部253とを有する。【選択図】図1
