Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device which is arranged to be able to suppress the deposition of a foreign material such as metal powder to an active material while ensuring the permeability of an electrolytic solution into a power-generating element.SOLUTION: A battery 1 (i.e. a power storage device) comprises: a power-generating element 2 having a positive electrode 3, a negative electrode 4 and separators 5 and 6 disposed between the positive electrode 3 and the negative electrode 4. The positive electrode 3 and the negative electrode 4 include, at ends, a positive electrode active material layer-unformed part 33 and a negative electrode active material layer-unformed part 43 respectively. As in sectional view of the power-generating element 2, the positive electrode active material layer-unformed part 33 and the negative electrode active material layer-unformed part 43 are each glued with the corresponding separator 5(6) at least one point; a gap between the positive electrode 3 and the negative electrode 4 adjoins a space outside the power-generating element 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】発電要素の内部への電解液の浸透性を確保しながら、金属粉などの異物が活物質に付着するのを抑制することが可能な蓄電素子を提供する。【解決手段】この電池1(蓄電素子)は、正極3と、負極4と、正極3と負極4との間に配されるセパレータ5および6とを有する発電要素2を備え、正極3および負極4は、それぞれ、端部に正極活物質層未形成部33および負極活物質層未形成部43を含み、発電要素2の断面視において、正極活物質層未形成部33および負極活物質層未形成部43とセパレータ5(6)とが少なくとも一箇所で接着されているとともに、発電要素2の外部の空間と、正極3および負極4の間の隙間とが連続している。【選択図】図2
