description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of gradually increasing an impact load to be absorbed during a secondary collision.SOLUTION: An impact absorbing shaft part 35 is provided at an intermediate part of an inner shaft 19. An outer peripheral surface of the impact absorbing shaft part is formed as an inclined surface part 37 whose outer diameter increases toward a front side. An annular member 36 made of a synthetic resin is externally fitted to the rear side of the inclined surface part 37 of the inner shaft 19. During a secondary collision, the annular member 36 is pressed forward by a front end surface of an outer tube 20 and expands in diameter while moving forward on the inclined surface part 37. The above problem is solved by adopting this structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
