| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load on a network connecting a control device and a packet transfer device.SOLUTION: A packet transfer device is connected with a control device through a network and performs processing on a packet received by the device in accordance with processing operations for the packet specified by the control device. The packet transfer device comprises: a storage section in which processing operations for packets are stored; a buffer which accumulates packets of which processing operations are not stored in the storage section out of received packets; and a control section which performs processing for transmitting an inquiry message which inquires the respective processing operations of a plurality of packets accumulated in the buffer and includes a set of the plurality of packets to the control device through the network.
