Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a joint boot to an outer peripheral face of an outer ring member by arranging a guiding guide region at the joint boot.SOLUTION: A constant velocity joint comprises: an outer ring member 24 in which three pieces of protrusions 52 are formed at an outer peripheral face in an axial direction, and three pieces of grooves 54 are formed between the adjacent protrusions 52; a shaft member connected to an inner ring member which is rollably fit to the outer ring member 24; and a joint boot 12 which is bridged between the outer peripheral face of the outer ring member 24 and the shaft member, and covers a fitting part of the constant velocity joint. A fitting region 12A of the joint boot 12 to the outer ring member 24 is formed into an annular shape in a cross section, in which a region 60 corresponding to a groove 54 formed at the outer peripheral face of the outer ring member 24 is made thick in thickness, and at the region 60 which is made thick in thickness, a guide protrusion 70 to be a guiding guide region when fitting the joint boot 12 to the outer peripheral face of the outer ring member 24, is protrusively formed. 【課題】ジョイントブーツに案内ガイド部位を設けることにより、ジョイントブーツを外輪部材の外周面に容易に取付けられるようにする。【解決手段】等速ジョイントは、外周面に軸方向に向かって3本の凸条52及び周方向に隣り合う前記凸条52の間に3本の溝54が形成される外輪部材24と、該外輪部材24に転動嵌合する内輪部材に連結される軸部材と、前記外輪部材24の外周面と前記軸部材との間に掛け渡されて等速ジョイントの嵌合部を被覆するジョイントブーツ12とを備える。ジョイントブーツ12の前記外輪部材24への嵌合部位12Aは、前記外輪部材24の外周面に形成される溝54に対応する部位60が厚肉とされた断面円環形状とされており、該厚肉とされた部位60に当該ジョイントブーツ12を前記外輪部材24の外周面に嵌め込む際に案内ガイド部位となる案内突起70が突設形成する。【選択図】図7
