【課題】膨張によるコークス炉への影響を抑えつつ低コストで高強度の高炉用コークスが得られる高炉用コークスの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の高炉用コークスの製造方法は、石炭の溶剤抽出処理により得られる無灰炭を石炭に配合する工程、及び上記配合炭を乾留する工程を備える高炉用コークスの製造方法であって、上記配合工程における上記無灰炭の配合量を3質量%以上、かつ配合炭の膨張率を20%以下とすることを特徴とする。上記配合工程における配合炭の膨張率を10%以上とするとよい。上記無灰炭を配合する石炭が強粘結炭及び非微粘結炭を含むとよく、上記配合炭における強粘結炭の割合としては20質量%以上50質量%以下が好ましい。【選択図】図2 |
