Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure axial force by coupling by a screw or a bolt in excellent work efficiency.SOLUTION: A block BL having a top face and a bottom face which are mutually parallel and side faces is inserted between a screw or a bolt S and the surface of an object M which is a coupling target. An X-ray is irradiated from a diffraction ring formation device having an X-ray emitter 10 and an imaging plate 15 onto the side face of the block BL, to thereby form a diffraction ring on the imaging plate 15, and residual stress of the block BL is calculated by detecting the shape of the formed diffraction ring. The axial force by coupling by the screw or the bolt S is determined from the obtained residual stress by calculating a relation between the residual stress and the axial force, which is obtained beforehand. 【課題】 ねじ又はボルトの締結による軸力を作業効率よく測定する。【解決手段】 ねじ又はボルトSと締結対象の物体Mの表面の間に、互いに平行である上面および底面と側面とを有するブロックBLを挿入する。X線出射器10とイメージングプレート15を有する回折環形成装置からブロックBLの側面にX線を照射してイメージングプレート15に回折環を形成し、形成された回折環の形状を検出してブロックBLの残留応力を計算する。得られた残留応力から、予め得られている残留応力と軸力との関係を用いて計算することで、ねじ又はボルトSの締結による軸力を求める。【選択図】図2
