Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict deterioration of outer appearance and irradiate light from an opening part formed at a vehicle body while improving a light utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting unit 1 is installed at a vehicle to irradiate light from an opening part H formed at a bumper B. The lighting unit comprises LED 4 arranged at a rear part of the opening part H and having a forward-directed optical axis Ax and an inner lens 5 arranged between LED 4 and the opening part H. The inner lens 5 is formed in such a way that a length L in a forward or rearward direction is longer than a thickness T of the opening part H along its width direction and at the same time the lens 5 has a lens main body part 51 arranged on the optical axis Ax of LED 4 while its front end surface 51b being near the opening part H, and a tapered part 521 extending out of the rear edge part of the lens main body part 51 so as to cover the side part of LED 4 in a thickness direction of the lens main body part 51.
