An output terminal 47 of a preliminary stack unit 400 and an output BUS 49a are connected by using the removed U-phase output conductor 18; and a signal input section 44 and the U-phase control section 60a are connected by using the removed signal line 61. 【課題】複数のスタックユニット及び予備スタックユニットを盤に着脱可能に収納した電力変換装置において、上記スタックユニットに障害が発生した場合、当該障害が発生したスタックユニットの相ごとに形状が異なる出力導体を上記予備スタックユニットに用いることにより誤挿入の防止が可能な電力変換装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 U相スタックユニット100に障害が発生した場合、当該U相スタックユニットの電源スイッチSW1をOFFにする。U相出力端子17とU相出力BUSを接続するU相出力導体18及びゲート信号入力部14とU相制御部60aを接続する信号線61を取り外す。次に、予備スタックユニット400の出力端子47と出力BUS49a間を上記取り外したU相出力導体18で接続すると共に、信号入力部44とU相制御部60aを取り外した信号線61で接続する。【選択図】図1
