Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows for inspection of undulation of a battery case with accuracy, even when gentle irregularities are formed in the battery case.SOLUTION: An undulation inspection method of a battery case includes an inspection step for inspecting undulation occurring in a case 100 having one open side, and constituted to be welded to a lid 200 arranged to close the one open side, and for correcting gentle irregularities formed on the case 100 by applying a load thereto, a step for measuring the amount of displacement of a surface facing the lid 200, at a welded portion of the case 100 where the irregularities are corrected, continuously while changing the position, and a step for determining the quality of undulation occurring in the case 100 based on the amount of displacement. 【課題】電池用ケースに緩やかな凹凸が形成されている場合でも、精度良く電池用ケースのうねりを検査可能な技術を提供する。【解決手段】一面が開口し、当該開口した一面を塞ぐように配置された蓋200と溶接されるように構成されたケース100に生じたうねりを検査する検査工程であって、ケース100に荷重を付与して、ケース100に形成された緩やかな凹凸を矯正する工程と、前記凹凸が矯正されたケース100の被溶接部における、蓋200と対向する面の変位量を、位置を変えつつ連続的に測定する工程と、前記変位量に基づいて、ケース100に生じたうねりの良否を判定する工程と、を含む。【選択図】図2
