Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a light source unit for irradiating a body to be illuminated with line-like light.SOLUTION: A light source unit 20 for irradiating a document P with the line-like light includes light sources 31 and 32 which emit light, a light guide body 25 which is formed like a rod and guides the light from the light sources 31 and 32 to the document P, a frame 21 which accommodates the light sources 31 and 32 and the light guide body 25, and a cover member 41 which transmits the light with which the document P is irradiated from the light guide body 25 and covers the frame 21 from the side of the document P. A conduction part 42 for conducting the light sources 31 and 32 is provided on the surface on the side of the light guide body 25 of the cover member 41. 【課題】被照明体にライン状の光を照射する光源ユニットの小型化を図ることを目的とする。【解決手段】原稿Pにライン状の光を照射する光源ユニット20であって、光を発する光源31、32と、棒状に形成され光源31、32からの光を原稿Pへと導く導光体25と、光源31、32および導光体25を収容するフレーム21と、導光体25から原稿Pへ照射される光を透過させ、フレーム21を原稿P側から覆うカバー部材41と、を有し、カバー部材41の導光体25側の面に光源31、32を導通させるための導通部42を設けたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
