【課題】過去の行動履歴を利用しつつ、それら過去の行動履歴による制約を抑えてより適切に行動エリアを予測することのできる行動エリア予測装置を提供する。【解決手段】行動エリア予測装置は、地図情報に関連付けられた過去の行動履歴の情報に基づいて目的地点となるエリアを含む行動エリアを予測する。行動エリア予測装置は、地図上に区分エリアを配置させる区分エリア配置部111と、区分エリア毎に、それら区分エリアに含まれる過去の目的地点が新たな目的地点となる確率を算出するとともに、その算出した確率に基づいて当該区分エリアが新たな目的地点を含むエリアとなる確率を算出する確率算出部112と、複数の区分エリアのうちから、新たな目的地点を含むエリアとなる確率が所定値以上になるように選択した1又は複数の区分エリアを含む大きさに行動エリアの領域の大きさを特定する予測部113とを備える。【選択図】図1 |
