Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce particulates in exhaust air by using an airtight member with simple component formation to surely ensure airtightness of a filter attached to a soundproof case.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises: a soundproof case 27 that stores an electric blower 19; a filter 20 that is attached to an exhaust outlet of the soundproof case 27; and an airtight member 32 that is arranged between the soundproof case 27 and the filter 20 and is made of a non-rigid object. A cross section of the airtight member 32 is shaped by integrating a nearly U-shaped base 32a, a protrusion 32b provided on an outer central part of a right side wall of the base 32a and a thin plate part 32c extended to a position covering the protrusion 32b from the right side wall of the base 32a. A concave groove 27c is provided at a whole circumference of the exhaust outlet of the soundproof case 27, and two left ends of the base 32a are attached to the concave groove 27c. When the filter is attached to the soundproof case, the airtight member is compressed in the vertical direction, and both side surfaces of the base deform in a convex direction, therefore, airtightness can be ensured. 【課題】防音ケースに装着したフィルターのエアータイトを単純な部品構成の気密部材で、確実に気密性を確保し、排気中の微粒子を低減させること。【解決手段】電動送風機19を収容する防音ケース27と、防音ケース27の排気口に装着されるフィルター20と、防音ケース27とフィルター20との間に配置され軟質体からなる気密部材32とを備え、気密部材32の断面形状は、略コの字状の基部32aと、基部32aの右側壁の外側中央部に設けた突起32bと、基部32aの右側壁から突起32bを覆う位置まで延設された薄板部32cと、が一体となった形状で構成され、防音ケース27の排気口の全周には凹部形状の溝27cが設けられ、基部32aの2つの左端部が凹部形状の溝27cに装着し、フィルターを防音ケースに装着した際、気密部材は垂直方向に圧縮され、基部の両側面が凸となる方向に変形し気密性を確保することができる。【選択図】図5
