Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a phosphor layer, which had high reliability and less color unevenness and high luminance; and provide a manufacturing method of the light emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 1 according to one embodiment comprises: a plurality of light emitting elements 11 mounted on a substrate 10 in a face-down manner; a transparent board 21; a phosphor-containing film 22 provided on an undersurface of the transparent board 21; and a low melting point glass layer 23 provided on the under surface of the transparent board 21 so as to cover an undersurface and side face of the phosphor-containing film 22. The light emitting device includes: a plurality of structures 20 provided on respective one of the plurality of light emitting elements 11 in a manner such that an undersurface of the low melting point glass layer 23 touches top faces of the plurality of light emitting elements 11; and a white reflective material 12 which covers side faces 11s of the plurality of light emitting elements 11 and a side face of the low melting point glass layer 23, in which at least a part of a region immediately above each gap 11g between the plurality of light emitting elements 11 is not covered with the phosphor-containing film 22.
【課題】蛍光体層を有する発光装置であって、信頼性が高く、色ムラの少ない高輝度の発光装置、及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る発光装置1は、基板10上にフェイスダウン実装された複数の発光素子11と、透明板材21と、透明板材21の下面に設けられた蛍光体含有膜22と、透明板材21の下面に蛍光体含有膜22の下面及び側面を覆うように設けられた低融点ガラス層23と、を含み、低融点ガラス層23の下面が複数の発光素子11の上面に接するように、複数の発光素子11の各々の上に1つずつ設けられた複数の構造体20と、複数の発光素子11の側面11s、及び低融点ガラス層23の側面23sを覆う白色反射材12と、を有し、複数の発光素子11の間隙11gの直上の領域の少なくとも一部が蛍光体含有膜22に覆われていない。【選択図】図1 |
