description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording having less reduction of dispersion stability of a pigment even when an ink composition is largely changed such as condensation of the ink at a nozzle tip which easily being caused when applied to a thermal type inkjet recording device though a coloring material is hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion, hardly generating nonejection of ink or printing twisting, capable of achieving good continuous printing performance for long time and forming image having high image concentration and excellent image quality.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink for inkjet recording with hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion used for a thermal type inkjet recording method as a coloring material, containing water, the hardly-dispersible pigment dispersion having acid value of 100 mgKOH/g or less, a surfactant and a water-soluble compound where the surfactant contains a gemini type surfactant having a plurality of hydrophobic chains in a molecule of 0.1 to 2.0 mass% in the ink. 【課題】色材が難分散性の顔料分散体であるにもかかわらず、サーマル方式のインクジェット記録装置に適用した場合に発生しやすいノズル先端部でのインクの濃縮のように、インク組成が大きく変化する場合においても顔料の分散安定性の低下がなく、インクの不吐出や印字ヨレが発生し難く、長期にわたって良好な連続印字性能を達成でき、形成される画像が、画像濃度が高く、画像品位に優れたものになるインクジェット記録用インクの提供。【解決手段】サーマル方式のインクジェット記録方法に使用される難分散性の顔料分散体を色材とするインクジェット記録用インクであり、水と、酸価が100mgKOH/g以下である難分散性の顔料分散体と、界面活性剤と、水溶性化合物とを含有してなり、前記界面活性剤が、一分子中に複数の疎水鎖をもつジェミニ型の界面活性剤をインク中に0.1〜2.0質量%含むインクジェット記録用インク。【選択図】なし
