Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine having a cooling structure capable of being installed on an ordinary installation plane.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine body 12 which has a rotor core 14 and a stator core 15 provided to a rotation axis 13 is enclosed with a pressure vessel 11 which has an opening in a penetrating part of the rotation axis 13. Plural cooling pipes 25 are disposed in a position enclosing the outer periphery of the rotary electric machine body 12 in the pressure vessel 11 along an axial direction of rotation axis 13. The rotary electric machine body 12 is disposed eccentrically downward in the pressure vessel 11. Many cooling pipes 25 are disposed in the pressure vessel 11 in an upper space extending from the lower space. 【課題】通常の設置面への据付が可能となる冷却構造を備えた回転電機を提供する。【解決手段】回転軸13に設けられた回転子鉄心14及び固定子鉄心15を有する回転電機本体12を、回転軸13の貫通部分に開口を有する圧力容器11で包囲する。圧力容器11内の回転電機本体12の外周を囲む位置に、複数本の冷却パイプ25を、それぞれ回転軸13の軸方向に沿って配置する。回転電機本体12は、圧力容器11内において下方に偏心して設ける。冷却パイプ25は、圧力容器11内の上部空間内に、下部空間より多くの本数が設置されている。【選択図】図1
