Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solidifying a rare earth-containing residue, in which a large amount of the acidic residue, that is generated when rare earths are extracted from rare earth-containing mud by using an acid, can be treated easily and the treated residue can be utilized as a buried material or the like.SOLUTION: The method for solidifying the rare earth-containing residue comprises a step of mixing the acidic residue, which is generated when the rare earth-containing mud (for example, the mud that exists in the sea bottom ground and has 1,000 ppm or higher rare earth content) is treated with the acid, with an alkaline solidifying material to obtain a solidified body. The alkaline solidifying material contains, for example, cement, lime or magnesium oxide.
【課題】レアアースを含有する泥から、酸を用いてレアアースを抽出した後に発生する多量の酸性の残渣を、簡易に処理することができ、また、処理後に得られるものを埋め立て資材等として利用することができる方法を提供する。【解決手段】レアアースを含有する泥(例えば、海底の地盤に存在する、レアアースの含有率が1,000ppm以上の泥)を酸で処理した後に発生する酸性の残渣と、アルカリ性固化材を混合して、固化体を得る、レアアースを含有する残渣の固化処理方法。アルカリ性固化材は、例えば、セメント、石灰、または酸化マグネシウムを含む。【選択図】なし |
