Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron absorber used when reflooding a reactor pressure vessel, having sufficient neutron absorption capacity, and not having problems of a bad influence by deposition in a circulation cooling system or decline of visibility caused by turbidity of cooling water in the reactor pressure vessel; and to provide an application method thereof.SOLUTION: Boron is shaped as a ball 6 which is dispersed in an outer shell part, and not floating on the water but drifting in the water. 【課題】原子炉圧力容器を再冠水する際に用いて十分な中性子吸収能力を有し、かつ循環冷却系での析出による悪影響や、原子炉圧力容器内冷却水の濁りによる視界の低下などの問題のない中性子吸収材およびその使用方法を提供する。【解決手段】ボロンを外殻部４に分散させ、水に浮かずに水中に漂うボール６とした。【選択図】図１
